Leicester aren’t exactly having a great season in 2021/22 but Everton are enduring a woeful campaign with Rafa Benitez under growing pressure. Can he ease some of that here with a win over the Foxes? Find out with our Everton vs Leicester match preview with free tips, predictions and odds mentioned along the way.

Foxes form to continue

Leicester might sit down in tenth spot, which is low for where they’ve been the last few years, but they are starting to look like the team all neutrals know and love again in the last couple of weeks. That’s why we think they’ll have too much for Everton. The Foxes beat Liverpool in their last Premier League match and turned in a classy performance to beat Watford in the FA Cup at the weekend. Everton meanwhile needed extra time to get past Hull in the cup and that means it’s now four games without a win (inside 90 minutes) for the Toffees. They’ve lost two of those games and, quite frankly, don’t look in a great place.

Goals for both teams

Everton might be struggling for form but they have been finding the net with reasonable consistency; they’ve netted goals in each of their last six games. The trouble is, they’ve conceded in every one of those half dozen as well. Leicester have form for a both teams to score bet as well. They’ve scored in all of their last 10 games and with just two clean sheets to their name that means 80% of their last 10 have seen both sides score. Four of the last five head to heads between these two have ended with goals at both ends too.

Everton vs Leicester: It’s predicted lineup timeEverton Predicted Lineup

Everton were supposed to be gunning for the next level with all the money that’s been pumped into the club. It has not worked and the only way they’re heading at this moment in time is down. Relegation might be a tad farfetched but Benitez needs results if he intends to keep his job.

Predicted lineup – Pickford, Kenny, Godfrey, Keane, Holgate, Coleman, Gordon Doucoure, Allan, Gray, Calvert-Lewin

Leicester Predicted Lineup

Brendan Rodgers came under a bit of scrutiny earlier this season, which is bonkers. He’s starting to prove that again in the last couple of games as his side have began to find their form again. We should expect more of the same here.

Predicted lineup – Schmeichel, Castagne, Vestergaard, Nelson, Thomas, Choudhury, Soumare, Dewsbury-Hall, Maddison, Vardy, Lookman
