West Ham the latest club linked with move for Chelsea’s Nigerian attacker :: All Nigeria Soccer
West Ham United are the latest club credited with an interest in signing Chelsea’s Nigerian striker Ike Ugbo.
Despite an excellent season at Cercle Brugge, for whom he scored sixteen goals in the Belgian First Division A, Ugbo is not in the plans of Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.
The European champions are open to offers for the Nigerian youngster as they could lose him for nothing in June 2022 when his contract expires.
Manager David Moyes is in the market for a striker to provide competition for Michail Antonio and it is believed that Paul Onuachu is on the radar of the Scottish football tactician.
Ugbo, who is hoping to be called up to the Super Eagles later this year, has been on the books of Chelsea since U10 level.
